Responsibilities included spreading the Girl Scout message in order to keep the funding for Girl Scout programing flowing. Responsible for the procurement of $80,000 per year through building donor relationships with corporations, individuals, and other nonprofits. This included cold calls, database management, prospective donor research, and the planning and execution of large-scale events. Required managing time effectively, efficient communication, and collaboration with diverse groups of people.

Assisted in database management, data entry, prospective donor research, and fundraising campaign execution. Worked as a core team member at multiple donor events.

Worked to create a culture of student philanthropy and giving at Michigan State. Built relationships with student leaders and organizations who had been identified as potential leaders of Alumni Clubs after graduation. Designed and implemented a "social norming" campaign for donating time, treasure, and talent among the student body.

Alternative Spartan Breaks is the alternative break program of Michigan State University. The program sends over 300 students domestically and internationally to volunteer with various social issues during Winter and Spring Breaks. ASB focuses on sustainable relationships with the communities we work with and a strong commitment to the use of the knowledge learned on trips in our own local communities. As Outreach Coordinator, I oversaw all communications within the organization and to the public. Responsible for starting inaugural scholarship program and alumni relations initiative.

Planned and led a trip of 12 Spartans to San Diego, California to work with the nonprofit, Border Angels. This was through the Alternative Spartan Breaks program at MSU.

Represented the Michigan State University student body on a commission of 12 students in the City of East Lansing. Worked closely with other students and East Lansing City Council members. Provided input and opinions on proposed ordinances.

Researched natural disasters, their effects, and possible solutions to these situations for the nonprofit Disaster Relief at Work (D.R.A.W.). Designed disaster response plan recommendation starting from initial online research and ending with in-person interviews with response workers along the East Coast.

Data sourcing for literature-search reports, led social media campaigns, and developed a variety of content for C&R client projects.

An orientation leader for the Spring/Summer, 2014 Academic Orientation Program for incoming MSU students. Responsibilities included working to create a smooth transition for new MSU students/parents by facilitating presentations, guided tours, group activities, student panels, parent sessions, and overnight residence hall programs. Served as a positive role model and university representative while presenting the limitless academic and student opportunities at MSU.
