Currently serving as the Alpha Company Commander at the 743D Military Intelligence Battalion. Previous assignments within the U.S. Army have included tactical customer engagement officer, assistant battalion operations officer, battalion security manager, battalion intelligence officer and company executive officer. I have 7 years military experience and intend to remain in the service as long as I have a passion and drive to serve the mission and the people of the US Army.I have a background in zoology with a BS in Biology from Northern Arizona University. I have worked in a variety of science businesses: the Ecological Restoration Institute, the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium, and Petsmart; and a variety of positions: research, customer service, consulting, education and animal care. I attended the Thunderbird School of Global Management in the MSGM program while running my part-time pet sitting business. As the former President of Thunderbird Toastmasters I managed different charity events throughout the year and earned certification for my speaking and leadership abilities. As a native of Arizona I know the Valley like the back of my hand, but I'm always learning new secrets. I have lived in the US, Japan, Argentina, Qatar, and South Korea. My international travel includes Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Uruguay, Costa Rica, the UAE, Spain, France, Vietnam and Cambodia.
