Assisted in tutorial lessons for international undergraduate students in introductory chemistry laboratories (CHEM 121/123).Marked in-class individual and group quizzes while participating in group exercises, and providing feedback for student's procedural drafts of experimental design.

Conduct required testing on agriculture and food samples using applicable wet chemistry methods and various instruments (spectrophotometer, wet gluten analyzer, electrophoresis, HPLC, GC, LCMSMS, ICP-OES, NIR, PCR, ELISA, etc.) available in the laboratory. Conduct balance/instrument calibrations, pipette verifications, monitoring temperatures of water baths, fridges, freezers, etc. Adhere to proper labelling and documentation procedures for solvents, standards, reagents, etc.

Performed extractions using the PhytoCleanTM method and apparatus or other extraction systems. Prepare samples and solutions and other general laboratory work. Conducted biological/biochemical analysis to measure bioactive compounds in raw materials  and PhytoCleanTM extracts through various analytical techniques, including but not limited to, chromatography (HPLC), UV-spectroscopy, and physical and chemical separation technique. Analyzed multiple raw materials for different properties like flavour, colour, anticarcinogenic benefits and phytochemical characteristics.

Created strong bonds between the 800 kids of each camp by individually getting to know their unique personalities and encouraging behaviours that will benefit them in future social interactions. Developed efficient teamwork, listening and performance skills with the kids by working together and practicing for a musical production that involved focus, memorization, confidence and trust in all participants.
