From Software Engineer Jr. Co-Op to Senior Software Engineer Task Lead, I have solved many complex problems using enterprise web technologies that are used domestically and internationally. I have implemented two-factor authentication into the web application that allowed users to login using PKCS#7 cards and a personal pin instead of using a password. I have built many web applications using the following languages and libraries:• Java – I used Java on the back-end to perform CRUD operations on the database, file uploads, and complex business logic. I also improved performance by optimizing the JVM for memory management and garbage collection.• Spring Framework / Spring Boot – I used Spring to handle the HTTP Requests and Responses, JDBC templates for CRUD operations on the database. I optimized Spring to cache data and improve application performance.• Oracle 11g - I divided the database into to tablespaces based on data requirements. I had to modify the datafile into Big Datafiles and lead the upgrade from 10g to 11g. I have configured the database archiving mechanism to improve web application performance.• KendoUI – I used this library connect the client -side combo boxes grids, and charts to a data source, and present data to the user.• JavaScript/ JQuery/ Knockout – I used JQuery for making Ajax HTTP request to the server side and client –side validation. I used Knockout in a MVVM framework.
