The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Service Benefit Plan has been part of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) since its inception in 1960. It covers roughly 4.6 million Federal employees, retirees and their families out of the nearly 8 million people who receive their benefits through the FEHBP.Recruited as a consultant, I organized the FEHBP's annual technical conference, the Systems Information Meeting (SIM) for IT professionals. I also gathered historical event data, drafted management reports and visual data models for the executive team, documented meeting planning processes, and provided recommendations for improvement.
