Develop creative concepts and lead production & execution for custom floral design for high-end, luxury weddings and events in the U.S. & internationally.

-Lead and manage the design and production of high end luxury floral designs for 20+ events across the U.S. & internationally including staffing, ordering, travel, developing a production timeline, managing a team of contract designers and vendors, and executing the installation and breakdown of all floral elements from concept to completion. -Research, develop and present creative concepts tailored to each client in collaboration with Principal-Developed custom client and project management system in Notion for more efficient and effective workflows, budget reporting, and communication for the whole team-Responsible for hiring and managing 6-15 contract workers for each event, including communicating expectations, schedule, and negotiating rates

We aim to tell stories of human connection, love, beauty and hope.Our floral designs are inspired by the beauty we see in nature and the people we are honored to create with and for. We create from a place of vulnerability and intention with an emphasis on texture, movement and color, paying close attention to what emerges when different flowers and colors interact when paired together.Through our art, we hope to capture the beauty that exists even in moments of tension, moments of imperfection, always seeking to expand our appreciation for things we wouldn’t normally find beautiful, to learn from other perspectives and ways of seeing the world, and most of all to value and make space for stories different than our own.

-Oversaw event strategy & execution of 30+ in-person & virtual events for donors and alumni, including receptions, private dinners, and leadership conferences-Led and managed the production and design of the USC Marshall Centennial Book & a custom mailer, working cross functionally with editors, designers, printers, and faculty members to bring the book to life.-Successfully transitioned annual events to a virtual format during the COVID-19 pandemic, including creating branded video content and slideshows for an engaging online experience-Elevated existing events by designing signage, invitations, and digital assets consistent with branding guidelines. -Oversaw consistent application of branding in printed and digital material, and provided design support for Dean’s events-During the pandemic, developed a marketing and engagement strategy for our social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) through Hootsuite.-Developed templates for scholarship representatives, donor proposals and event invitations in Canva and Adobe InDesign for colleagues and volunteers to use.-Designed branded event email marketing communications for school wide events like USC Trojan Family Weekend, developing event collateral to distribute to our school-specific events.-Collaborated with Marketing Department to produce event collateral and email templates

-Maintained responsibilities as Advancement & Events Coordinator, and expanded my role to include management of events & stewardship at the new USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. -Create & design custom event invitations, signage, and event collateral for all events. -Provide custom floral arrangements for receptions and small dinners.-Coordinate all arrangements related to donor stewardship including parking reservations, dinner reservations with the Dean, dedication ceremonies, receptions, thank you letters, birthday cards, etc. -Developed a protocol and system to support growing number of requests from USC and serve as artist liaison for any high-level or outside requests for student musicians.-Primary point of contact for Glorya Kaufman, the benefactor for the USC Kaufman School of Dance and responsible for booking all her car services to/from any Kaufman-related activities. Worked closely with her on the Kaufman Building Dinner & Ribbon Cutting to ensure that her requests were accommodated.

-Planned & designed the annual Charles Dickens Dinner gala for 400 people at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, managing a budget of over $200,000 from 2010 - 2014. The event included management of a full production team, other USC Thornton staff members and over 250 students performing at the event. -Responsible for leading all production meetings and determining overall design and decor for event in collaboration with dinner chairs.-Planned & designed Schoenfeld Symphonic Hall building dedication for 150 people, managing a budget of $30,000 and transforming the outdoor loading dock into a reception space, and the indoor hall into an intimate dining venue.-Planned from design to conception all Dean's level events including receptions, dinners, dedication ceremonies, and board meetings. -Served as primary contact for 30 Board of Councilors members and responsible for communicating upcoming events and news as requested by the Dean. -Drafted correspondence on behalf of the Dean of the school and Assistant Dean for Advancement. -Served as primary liaison with University Events office for all high-level, presidential events including the USC Thornton Campaign Launch. -Developed comprehensive scholarship database and coordinated school’s scholarship program, including providing annual reports to named scholarship donors, regular communications to scholarship students and donors, and creating activities to connect donors to students and school. -Responsible for all in-kind donations, ensuring that proper procedures and protocol are followed and communicating with the donor.

Corresponded with alumni through email to stay connected with current alumni. Updated alumni contact information to increase number of active alumni and strengthen Trojan Family network. Computed monthly metrics to help improve alumni relations. Created RSVP spreadsheets for all alumni events to help in planning for the event.

Drafted thank you letters to donors who provide financial aid through scholarships. Maintained inventory of office supplies to ensure efficiency of daily office operations. Answered multi-line phones and effectively transfer call to or record message for intended recipient. Tracked gifts and donations of up to $50,000 received by the music school in spreadsheet. Updated database system of over 8,000 alumni with new contact information. Formatted spreadsheets for mail merges and mass mailings. Provided assistance at music events (transportation for older alumni, directing attendees to location, setup of reception) to help events run smoothly and allow alumni to feel welcome. Managed reservations for highest grossing fundraising event, the Charles Dickens Dinner.
