Legal Administrative Assistant
Current-Manage office schedule as it pertains to deadlines, motions, and critical court dates.-Manage incoming and outgoing calls for managing partners.-Organize and maintain all company files.-Manage client records and accounts while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.-Communicate with clients and collect required documents.-Support other administrative functions by working with Microsoft Word and Excel.-Provide technical support to managing partner.-Generate client communication through email and written letters.-Electronically submit court filings.-Maintain an electronic database that houses all billable hours through Practice Panther.-Digitally maintain and update confidential files-Responsible for processing new client intake setup and closing client documentation letters.-Input hours into Progressive Payroll for weekly payroll to be generated.-Accounts Payable- responsible for receiving, processing, verifying invoices, and paying vendors and clients.-Accounts Receivable- manage all incoming funds from businesses and clients, including proper cash application.-Maintain company bank accounts to ensure each account is within appropriate thresholds.-Responsible for company bank deposits.-Manage and reconcile client trust accounts.-Responsible for forensic account auditing- specific client trust accounts.-Analyze client invoices and trust balance sheets for auditing purposes.-Initiate client billing statements.-Administrative duties- sort and manage incoming and outgoing mail, and order office supplies.-Support other administrative functions by working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
