By the time I was promoted to executive vice president, I was the onsite business strategist, team leader, brand builder, and industry influencer, as charged by the CEO.Capitalizing on my extensive knowledge of and network in real estate and the multifamily / apartment industry, I led us through massive revenue growth. I joined as Director of Sales and Marketing and was promoted as planned upon my recruitment to Executive Vice President, serving as the CEO’s right-hand, onsite leader, guiding operations, sales, marketing, branding, and expansion into new regions.

Originally recruited to reduce expenses and develop a viable marketing strategy to increase our top line, I expanded my role to include oversight of operations and marketing, plus to advise the chief executive officer (CEO).My successes in this position included construction and implementation of a financial strategy that achieved near-100% occupancy for our portfolio of units, working collaboratively with my team of 6 area managers and maintenance managers to maximize our budgets and financial strategy, benchmarked to the real estate industry, as well.One key effort I spearheaded was to develop 12 web sites for multiple properties and support them with a strong SEO presence and social media campaign across Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and more. At the same time, I also managed our advertising and public relations campaign to maximize our exposure to the right audiences.Also, as we remodeled our units, I worked with our team to source vendors and brokers internationally to acquire the right materials for redevelopment.Expertise built during this time encompassed HUD, Section 8 Choice Voucher Program, payment subsidies, utilities management, acquisition analysis, expense control, accounting, payroll, and all analytics related to monthly financial status.

As the primary executive for Ignis Imports LLC, I sourced private label, top-shelf beauty products from international sellers. I identified the right international vendors and managed these relationships from contract negotiations through delivery.Complying with U.S. regulatory and Underwriters Laboratories requirements, I selected products best suited for the U.S. market, and sold them in trade show and retail environments.I also led all aspects of budgeting, accounting, forecasting, and sales performance.
