When looking at my wide assortment of intellectual interests, jobs, and hobbies, I would completely understand if you're a little bit confused. So let me try and provide some background. I’m a recent graduate at the University of Rochester pursuing a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering, with a minor in music. I was also in the Take Five Scholars Program, which allows students to spend a tuition-free fifth year at UR studying something outside their major. I spent my fifth year exploring gender and media. Outside of my classes, I have had various jobs on campus, including but not limited to, campus tour guide, teaching assistant, orientation leader, communications and graphics assistant, admissions interviewer, peer advisor, and tutor. I also spend a lot of time volunteering in my local community which has helped me realize that working directly with people is something I really enjoy.I’m always looking for new ways to expand my experience and tackle new challenges in every aspect of my life. Despite studying engineering, my interests range in everything from baking/decorating (check out my hopefully one day real but currently fake bakery linked below) to TV comedies (like The Good Place and Schitt's Creek) to documentaries (specifically nature ones) to movie soundtracks (mostly Marvel).
