Before launching Monumental Strides in 2022, I spent almost two decades creating international destinations and attractions - theme parks, zoos, aquaria, museums, water parks, etc. As a theme park enthusiast with a background in business, architecture, and engineering, I had landed my dream job! Traveling the world, trying new foods, experiencing new cultures, and working with incredibly talented and creative teams…what could be better than this?Then something happened that rocked my world - I became a mother of two amazing boys. Suddenly, the joy of traveling and the excitement of my job faded in comparison to the precious moments I was missing in my sons’ lives. My vision of leading the design for international destinations no longer aligned with my new “why.” I realized there had to be a better way—one that would continue to support my passion for helping businesses envision and build big dreams while creating a better balance that reflected my values.As a Business Strategist, I now apply my business knowledge and creative thinking differently, focusing on empowering others to define and achieve meaningful success in their organizations. I know that ideas not implemented are just beautiful dreams, so our process is rooted in action and ongoing guidance. And while I am an eternal optimist, I fundamentally understand that things rarely go as planned and believe that strategic planning is an iterative process – that by knowing where you are headed (and why) and pausing along the way to assess your progress, anyone can have an impactful journey while making monumental strides forward.
