I’ve run five marathons and finished three. I have a great sense of humor, love to lead diverse teams, manage people, and mentor. I also love to learn. The factors impacting the patient experience are expanding, and I want to keep up with the pace at which patients’ lives are changing.My core values are honesty, integrity, and transparency. I see the whole chessboard and value those who see the individual pieces. I don’t need to have all the answers, but as a leader, I need to solicit and recognize the right answer when I see it.I am that person who raises their hand in a meeting and says, “I don’t understand.” I am comfortable making decisions and having difficult conversations. If possible, I prefer to meet people where they are, literally.
