Born out of Startup Weekend/Techstars the company was a pioneer in the subscription box e-commerce business model. Received Y-Combinator invite for the 2012 batch (extended to fewer than 7% of applicants). As employee number 2, I planned and implemented logistics supporting the CEO as we grew from 0-1.-Led operations to source, pack, and ship products on monthly timeline. Efforts included sourcing vendors, creating partnerships, negotiating pricing and shipping terms, managing sales team, and responding to customer service ticket requests.-Developed content strategy based on information research, competitive analysis, and market positioning for Healthy Surprise and ancillary company

Leveraged guerilla marketing campaign to further invigorate awareness for: ‘Hazte La Prueba’ ('Take The Test'), a State Department effort to increase HIV screenings. Test administrations increased 75% during campaign week.
