EGR is a manufacturing company based in Salisbury that focuses on two divisions, automotive and commercial products. At EGR my role was within the I.T team with focus on data collection and reporting. Data was collected via SQL and imported into reports on the web using PHP and JQuery to build the reports. Reports would vary from processing times, safety reports/forms, labels, ect. for the manufacturing departments themselves and customer reports and product data sheets (availability, times to manufacture and ship, etc.) for customer service team.

Halfbrick is a globally know games company based here in Brisbane, Australia. With titles such as Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, Halfbrick has millions of players across all our games and platforms generating an enormous amount of data. My role includes:Identifying areas for development and optimization.Developing complex queries for relational and column-based databases.Recommend courses of actions and visually represent complex relationships in simplified images and graphs.Devise unique and practical ways of examining and evaluating player behavior.Providing on-going reporting and performance monitoring from multiple data sources.Use statistical tools to determine if significant results when performing A/B Split Testing and helping with design of A/B Split Testing.Working with both internal and external employees across multidisciplinary roles.Design new data events.During my time at Halfbrick, my main focus has been on the Dan the Man though I have also worked on Fruit Ninja, Top Farm, Yes Chef, and Siege Breakers (AR).
