I served 11 years in the Navy as a photographer. Being stationed on an aircraft carrier, I shot everything from airplanes/ships, everyday life, to studio portraits and even investigative photos. I later worked as a photojournalist in San Diego working more in detail with the journalism side of the house. My last duty station was at the Pentagon in Washington D.C where I was the executive photographer to the Chief of Staff of the Navy, better known as the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). I traveled around the world (a few times) documenting naval history to include dignitaries and heads of state, military personnel in combat zones, and many ceremonies and ship christening and commissionings. Since 2011, I’ve been taking photos of injured veterans and healing heroes during their rehabilitation process. So, it's safe to say I'm capable of shooting anything, anywhere. I've been fortunate enough to have had the ability to learn and master these skills throughout my military career. My responsibilities as a visual information specialist involve developing and creating artwork for different mediums.
