Hello, I'm Tiffany! I'm a third year undergraduate student majoring in computer science and minoring in chemistry at University of Massachusetts Amherst. I'm passionate about using my skills in data science, machine learning, and programming (Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C, R, SAS) to make a difference in biotechnology and medicine. Currently, I'm working on a content based image retrieval project supervised by Novartis under Break Through Tech AI, and I'm learning so much about computer vision along the way! In addition to my other projects, I've been exploring the realm of research during my breaks from school. Over the summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to work on statistical genetics research (https://github.com/p1nkuu/adni_analysis) at Boston University under Dr. Gina Peloso. The following winter break, I'll be starting computational biology and genomics research with Dr. Weng at UMass Chan Medical School.I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and gain more experience, so feel free to contact me!
