I have experience in finance/business office, billing, coding, insurance verification, data entry, administration, phone etiquette, HR, payroll, Medicare/Medicaid, supervision, IT, supply requisition, referrals, AR/AP, and healthcare. My most recent position was as an Accounts Payable Specialist for a Catholic corporation consisting of multiple assisted living facilities and a nursing home. I kept records of/paid all invoicing for services, supplies, food, company credit cards, fleet vehicles, employee health insurances, CIP projects, licensing, and contracted vendors. I handled W-9's, 1099's, coding, I-9 requirements, cash, check, and direct deposits, petty cash, reimbursements, resident trust purchasing, assets, and payment to non-employees. I worked with our CEO and CFO very closely along with HR, and all of the department heads.Caregiving is very important to me as I have experience taking care of children of all ages, adults, and elderly adults. I have experience with skilled, LTC, hospice, and mental health patients. I value accountability and reliability. I’m willing to put in overtime and always try to improve upon my skills. I attempt to challenge myself. I’m experienced/advanced in both reading and speaking Spanish. I studied communication studies in college and use that knowledge to better help in understanding human behavior and verbiage. This assists in my ability to deescalate situations.
