Mr. Chen is the executive director of Zijiang Holdings, one of China’s best-known large-scale private companies. He is vice chairman of the Shanghai Youth Federation and an adjunct professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University. He also is the co-founder and executive director of Konbest Capital, a leading private equity investment company in China, which is strongly sponsored by Zijiang Holdings. Under Mr. Chen’s leadership, Konbest Capital has invested in more than 40 companies domestically and abroad Involved in the industries like manufacturing, energy, health care, transportation, banking, and insurance, real estate.Mr. Chen successfully led the pilot project of the first listed co. in Chinese Non-tradable Stock Reform in 2005, the first Shanghai company's IPO in SME bourse of Chinese Stock Exchange after full circulation reform in 2006, and one of the first batches of IPOs in the Chinext Board in China in 2009. He witnessed and fully engaged in the evolution of China's multi-tier capital market system. Prior to launching Konbest Capital, Mr. Chen held senior management positions in US consulting company and China state-owned company. Mr. Chen also is serving on the boards of several of Konbest’s portfolio companies and the Advisory Board of Antai Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University. Mr. Chen is a CFA charter holder, and also served as Principal Advisor of CFA China-Shanghai.
