I have enjoyed competing in all sports throughout my life but GOLF is my ultimate passion! I achieved a zero handicap shortly after 3 years of playing golf. I first started playing the game of golf in 1997 and have been widely known to tournament players in Southern California having competed in major USGA, US Women's Open Qualifiers and Public Links Championships. I won 8 Club Championship titles, 6 which were at Industry Hills Golf Club. I also competed in the Lexus TV Team Championships for a few years. I had a very successful amateur golf career and proud to be nick named Tiger Lily. In 2010, just as I was turning 50 years old and recently remarried, I decided to enter the PGA program to become a Professional Golfer with the total support of my husband Ernie Kurotobi. After 6 years of studying and testing, I was then elected on July 1, 2016 as a Class "A" member in the Professional Golfers' Association of America. I believe I have an advantage of teaching students in a simplified manner because of the experience I've had throughout my life competing in many sports and I understand the mental game involved in competition. I excelled in running track (440 run), basketball, softball (CIF hitting record, seated 2nd in the league), tennis (qualified to compete in CIF), bowling team at CSULA (202 book average), and racquetball "A" player competitions. I was awarded Most Valuable Player of the Year at Montebello Junior High School and Montebello High School. On June 14, 2019, I was inducted in the Montebello High School Athletic Hall of Fame.From 1979 to 2012, I was a volunteer Coach for many years teaching kids in tennis, basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, and golf. I understand how these different sports can relate to the golf swing because they all require different strengths, flexibilities, and mental thoughts. Since 1991, I have been a California Licensed Realtor, License #01117756 helping many families find their home sweet home and look forward in assisting others to relocate to Nevada. I currently teach many students of all ages. I instruct either in Private, Group or Clinic formats.
