PhD in Applied Physics with 10 years of academic and industry research experience. Solid background in theoretical physics and large experience in experimental optics. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding on linear and nonlinear optics, CW to amplified pulsed laser sources, light characterization techniques and image formation. Industry experience on project, integration and test of a high resolution space camera. Critic thinker along with determinate attitude.Currently, contributing with optical and mechanical design and analysis of Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT) sub-systems. Colaborating with the design of Filter Box from MANIFEST (telescope fiber positioner facility), performance and tolerance analysis of GMACS (multiple objetc spectrograph), and with the conceptual design of the GMT adaptive optics test bed.
