Preparation of several fairness opinions and a contribution in kind in accordance with IDW S1 in the course of a capital increase. Modelled the financial statement of two mortgage banks and applied a DCF to calculate the current stock value. The aim was a merger between these two banks, which was successfully conducted after the valuation. Conducted a goodwill impairment test and sensitivity analysis on several “cash-generating-units” of DVB Bank based in Frankfurt, Germany. Subsequently supported the audit team in valuation and MaRisk topics during the 2016 audit. Impairment testing of equity and fund investments (DCF, valuation multiples and comparable transaction valuation) for next47 Service GmbH (Siemens Venture Capital). Supported the audit team in business modelling matters in the 2015 and 2016 audit of Siemens AG. The impairment test was successful without major findings. Applied a DCF valuation of an international Card Process Provider during a takeover bid and evaluated possible synergies between the bidder and the target company. Delivered several reports and research statements about fairness opinions, merger and acquisitions, financial due diligences and efficient taxation methods for international asset management companies. Due diligence of the valuation process of a Venture Capital firm in Berlin. Advised them on a better internal control of new investments, which improved the selection process and lowered the overall risk of new investments. Set up weekly stock and indices charts in applying DataStream (Thomson Reuters), which were delivered to the Multi Asset Fund Solutions department.
