UK prize for science fiction book of the year and non-profit organisation with mission to positively promote science fiction literature.Responsibilities include: • Lead the award’s directorship team and act as its public face and spokesperson. • Manage the award’s reputation with internal and external stakeholders, developing and delivering communications that consistently reflect the award’s core brand narrative and ensuring that stakeholders understand the award’s mission, strategy and value to their goals.• Set priorities for external communications and implement these to advance delivery of the award’s annual announcement cycle and manage reputation with key audiences and stakeholders.• Direct the development and delivery of the award’s 40th anniversary future communications and engagement strategies to advance the award’s mission and ambitions, build trust, and unite all activities through a strong, trustworthy and clearly-authored brand. • Oversee digital and social media content across owned and paid channels, to achieve priority award objectives. • Contribute to the creation and development of a diverse and inclusive culture across the award, publishing industry, and global science fiction community.
