I joined the team of just a few people in the same month when we incorporated Slush, and took charge of building and executing the event's communications and PR functions. Later on I also recruited and lead the communications team of 5 (year-round) to 35 (during the event). During the course of the 2 years I was responsible for the reputation, media visibility and stakeholder communications of the event, the team's efforts resulted in participant growth from 3500 to 14000 attendees from 100 countries, becoming one of the leading startup events globally.Slush 2018 takes place on Dec 4-5, 2018 in Helsinki, Finland.www.slush.org

+ Master's thesis for the Master of Social Science program, University of Helsinki. + Topic of the research: The most effective communication in health behavior interventions operated through mobile health applications, case YOU-app. + In concrete, basing on the newest research on communication and psychology, I analyzed YOU-app's user data of 2,5 years to find out what kind of communicative framing best leads into people changing their health behavior.Assessed "ground-breaking in its' own field" by University of Helsinki.

Developed in collaboration with psychologists and neuroscientists, the app offers consumers, diverse organizations, health care companies and insurance companies an effective method for changing complex health behavior, lastingly.YOU-app has quickly become one of the leading apps for well-being and personal development - e.g. the app was featured as #1 in the main page of the US App Store in the fall 2016. YOU-app attended the prestigious 500 Startups accelerator in 2015 as the first Finnish startup.

Kannustin Oy is the market leader in organizing preparatory courses for the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Helsinki. During 2012-2013 I led and taught 3 preparatory courses for ca. 40 students wishing to pass the highly demanding entrance exam of 4% entrance rate and to enter the degree program in Media and Communication studies at the University of Helsinki.I planned and conducted the courses independently and received excellent student feedback after every course. Both years I received the highest student feedback rates in the company.

I worked as a teaching assistant at a university course on communication politics and media regulation taught by professor and head of discipline Hannu Nieminen. My tasks included e.g. developing the course assignments to match the needs of the working field, reviewing essays and exams and communicating with students.

As the Editor-In-Chief I was responsible for the journalistic content, recruiting and heading the editorial team and managing the financials.

As an assistant for Citi's Corporate Banking office in Helsinki, I assisted the departments of finance, compliance and communications, and was responsible for office operations, such as welcoming visitors, assistive salary calculation and daily paying of bills. The office provides services to the largest Finnish corporations, financial institutions and to the public sector, as well as to subsidiaries of foreign multinational companies operating in Finland.

As an assistant for the COO of the car retail company selling Land Rovers, BMWs, Minis and used cars, I assisted with the daily transactions, payroll activities and marketing.
