Binnen de afdeling Innovatie & Ontwikkeling verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en valideren van nieuwe innovaties en concepten. O.a. op het gebied van digitale hulpmiddelen zoals de Microsoft Hololens 2, automatische kabeltracé bepaling met AI en kabelvisualisatie met AI.

Tweejarig ontwikkelprogramma met een sterke focus op persoonlijke groei. Binnen dit programma ben ik op verschillende afdelingen werkzaam geweest:- Als projectleider binnen de afdeling Energietransitie & Netwerken was ik verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van capaciteitskaarten. Deze werden binnen de Regionale Energie Strategieën ingezet om overheden te ondersteunen in de planvorming rondom zonneparken.- Binnen het team Afvalmanagement onderzoek gedaan naar het retourproces en de reststromen van Enexis en hier een verbeterplan voor geschreven.- Als productmanager verantwoordelijk geweest voor de ontwikkeling van verschillende klantproposities.

Met een frisse blik brengen we inzichten in nieuwe markt- en innovatie kansen voor bedrijven en organisaties. Eerdere succesvolle opdrachten zijn uitgevoerd voor onder andere Alliander, Hiber, Universiteit Utrecht en Clubcollect.

Over the last few decades, deforestation and land use change have increasingly become a threat to forests in tropical regions. An agricultural commodity that is currently directly and indirectly responsible for a substantial share of this deforestation is soy. As a front-runner in enhancing the sustainability of commodity value chains, and as one of the biggest soy importers in the world, the Netherlands could play an important role in making this value chain more sustainable. Over the years, the spectrum of environmental policy instruments available to governments to enhance the sustainability of global value chains has broadened from predominantly regulatory towards a variety of policy instruments with different degrees of state intervention, and with increased engagement of non-state actors. This study aimed to develop insight in how environmental policy instruments differ in their effectiveness to remove deforestation from the soy value chain, and how this can be explained by the role of the government in those instruments.

Schiphol Airport

Together with four fellow students from Utrecht University, I consulted ENGIE Services Nederland NV and Schiphol Real Estate in providing advise related to the development and management of sustainable and flexible commercial real estate at Schiphol. We conducted 15 interviews with real estate experts of both the service provider ENGIE and the real estate owner Schiphol Real Estate in order to research the current efforts towards sustainability and flexibility. Next to conducting interviews we analysed existing best practices in the Netherlands related to sustainable and flexible real estate and we consulted scientific literature. In the end we were able to provide both companies with an overview of the specific current situation at Schiphol airport and advise them on how to improve the development and management of sustainable and flexible commercial real estate in the future.

The SSU Foundation aims at putting Innovation Sciences to practice for excellent students by organizing case studies with innovative Dutch companies and annually organizing a ten-day study tour to a world’s leading innovative city. Parts of this trip are visits to companies, universities and research centers. Previous study tour destinations include Montréal (2013), Seoul (2014), and San Francisco & Silicon Valley (2015). This year's study tour has visited Osaka and Kyoto, Japan. As a Foreign Relations Manager, I was responsible for the company visit program during the study tour, which included companies like Shimano, Sharp Solar, Panasonic, Osaka Innovation Hub, AnGes, Shimadzu and Yanmar.
