This role oversees and manages projects that combinedly involve Herbal Science & Research (HSR) and New Product Development (NPD) branches of the Herbal Affairs department, the prime initiators in the process of Product Development.This role is required to be the liaison for delivering a product idea from birth, through development, sourcing, production, and launch. Adding to this, the role assists in:• Creation of product initiation documents for new product ideas.• Developing timeline for new products proceeding for launch.• Provide timely updates on the progress of NPD projects to all primary stakeholders involved. • Act as the liaison for NPD and support associated teams in their efforts of new product launch. This role is also responsible for conducting research and promoting the safety, efficacy, and overall quality of new products. Adding to this, the role assists in:• Creation of safety, compliance, and liability documents for new and existing products/ingredients.• Support in providing sustainability information, education, and sourcing quality ingredients.• Assist Sales&Marketing with content on ingredients in product formulations; providing safety and efficacy information as needed; assisting in answering common customer-related concerns and questions; assisting with Non-Serious Adverse Event process, etc.• Support Quality Control with the design and implementation of QC processes; advising on improved capabilities for more in-house testing and to meet the highest level of compliance; project managing communication and mainstreaming processes between HSR, NPD, and QC departments.• Support Social and Environmental Responsibility team goals; conduct literature reviews as needed. • Collaborate on regenerative agriculture research initiatives at the Banyan Farm in southern OR; assist with data analysis.• Manage clinical trials and statistical analysis.
