Dr. Verma has 20 + years of experience in successfully developing and implementing quality assurance (QA) programs industry . He has over 20 years of experience leading QA programs to comply with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B requirements in the nuclear industry, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and decommissioning. His experience encompasses the diverse aspects of software QA, procurement QA, commercial grade dedication, analytical QA and quality control (QC), engineering QA, construction QA, operations QA, evaluation of supplier QA Programs,10 CFR 21 compliance.As a Quality Engineering Supervisor for Performance Assessment at the nuclear plant construction at Vogtle Units 3 & 5 in Georgia, he worked closely with the Quality engineering Manager for effective implementation of a NQA-1 based quality assurance program to comply with the NRC requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B. He works in the areas of QA oversight, corrective actions, ITAAC and Software QA.Before joining CBI Nuclear Power, Dr. Verma worked at Trinity Engineering, and at Energy Solutions. At EnergySolutions, as Director of Quality Engineering for EnergySolutions, Dr. Verma was responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of the company’s QA Program to meet ASME NQA-1 requirements. He has led the QA programs at key projects, including the DUF6 Project, the Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF) Project, and at Hanford. His experience also includes the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), where he worked as the Project Manager and Senior Licensing Representative for the Nuclear High-Level Waste Program.Dr. Verma is a champion of Quality, particularly Nuclear Construction and operational Quality . He has been selected to serve on industry panels such as the Energy Facility Contractors Group, the ASME NQA-1 Subcommittee for Engineering and Procurement, and the ASME NQA-1 Subcommittee for Software QA.
