As a Team Leader, I am responsible for recruiting, coordinating, and supporting a dedicated team. I guide our efforts to ensure the efficient and successful completion of projects within the Foster and Volunteer space.With a team of seven talented individuals under my guidance, I oversee the care and coordination of approximately 500 foster parents and 400 on-site volunteers. I bring extensive experience in managing and nurturing both these internal relationships with my team, and ongoing external relationships with our volunteer database.I take pride in actively building meaningful connections and ensuring that every member of the team feels valued and supported. I also take passion for fostering community engagement, and have spearheaded the establishment and ongoing leadership of corporate volunteer days within our center, facilitating opportunities for businesses to engage with our mission and contribute to our cause.Driven by my commitment and desire to make a positive impact, I thrive in environments where collaboration, empathy, and strategic thinking are paramount. This role involved coordinating temporary homes for a variety of animals with differing needs, and managing a database of between 4-500 Foster Parents. Within the role I was responsible for suitably matching animals to foster homes, whilst providing comprehensive support to foster families throughout their fostering journeys.My responsibilities included teaching animal handling, conducting informative group training sessions, efficiently managing appointments, offering responsive phone support, and overseeing general administrative tasks. Crucial to this role, I also played a pivotal role in recruiting and retaining foster parents, who are a valuable resource to the organisation.

This role involved creating personalised travel itineraries for clients, spanning both national and international destinations, ensuring each journey was tailored to their requirements.My responsibilities included engaging with customers through various channels to fulfill their travel needs, providing managerial support during absences to ensure seamless operations, and consistently striving to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). I demonstrated independence, self-motivation, and adaptability in a dynamic market environment throughout the Covid Pandemic. Notably, I achieved ranking as the top performer across all stores in New Zealand for critical KPIs such as Sales volume and Gross Margins. Additionally, I orchestrated over a 25% increase in commission for the Queenstown store within an 8-week period, surpassing the previous year's performance during the manager’s absence.
