I am a bachelor student in economics and have an insatiable hunger for knowledge and success and have my eyes set on an international financial career. My former work experience has taught me how to lead a group to success, how to maintain motivation, and mainly, how to pay it forward. My goal during my studies is to get an internship at an investment company. All my future academic and personal choices are determined by this. I wish to continue my professional future in an international investment company where I can make other people’s dreams become reality as an investor. An internship would help me advance in my financial studies and give me the opportunity to be a part of a context characterized by teamwork, innovation and futuristic vision. This combination would reinforce my main characteristics and give me a rare, yet desired, selection of expertise. Being in the beginning of my academic career, I am willing to put in the work required to reach my professional goals. I am truly engaged in every project and course that I enroll with, which shows in my professional resume. I was selected for the role as Junior Project Manager at Mathem, a food retailer with delivery service in Sweden. This experience showed me first hand what it means to represent an organization. I got the chance to establish external relations and learn cost-efficiency, group development and business management on a thorough level. Working with people from the highest level of their industries as well as the directors of our organization, was a - once in a lifetime experience. Especially for someone without any higher form of education, and I am resolute to relive similar experiences after graduating. The role as Project Manager required hard work and made me change my perspective on life - and ever since I have been determined to reach my goals. I’m convinced that great accomplishments are achieved by a combination of determination, self-awareness and work-ethics, rather than academic talent alone. Qualities I gained at a young age during my work at Mathem. Moreover, being solution-driven rather than doubtful makes me well reasoned and a “doer”, tools required to influence the world to become a better place. During the autumn semester of 2023 I was "Head Novice Mentor" in our student organization where I got to improve my organizational skills, leadership and communication skills. Moreover, it made me eager to partake in other student organizations, in particular the Linc Female Network, where I can develop expertise that will benefit my professional career.
