Since I received a piano at the age of 5, my life has revolved around music:- I made music: started as a pianist, become friend with Krystian Zimerman, stopped, because he is a pianist - I wrote about music: met and interviewed artists that intrigued me: Alfred Brendel, Murray Perahia, Svjatoslav Richter- I directed master class series for musicians (3 years): invited teaching artists such as the Beaux Arts Trio, Andras Schiff, Alban Berg Quartet- I managed musicians (20 years): Christian Thielemann, Seiji Ozawa, Jukka-Pekka Saratse, Arcadi Volodos, Ivo Pogorelich- I initiated and produced multiple formats around music (29 years): audio and visual recordings, concert series, orchestral tours, and a competition- I started building tools for musicians and audiences (7 years): classical music streaming platform IDAGIOOut of almost every new occupation, I founded something:- A Big Band (with Bob Brookmeyer): out of the master classes at the SHMF (1994)- An Artist Management firm: European office Columbia Artists Management (2000)- A Performing Arts series: Abu Dhabi Classics for the UAE government (2008)- A startup: IDAGIO, the leading streaming service for classical music (2015)
