Follow up with supplier about production schedule (expediting) to meet customer promised delivery dateManaging shipments of less than 10kg through company account in Fedex/DHL/UPS.For other orders, taking quotes from multiple shipping agents negotiate and finalize the quote by considering vessel schedule and freight cost. Sharing pickup contact information to shipping agents and vice versa. Follow up with shipping agent and supplier for timely pickup and vessel schedule. Booking insurance for the shipments. Managing any customs hold at origin / destination by providing required supporting documents. Provide switch BL details to the freight forwarder when required. Issuing authorization letter to shipping agents. Ensure shipping document are as required for customs clearance. Make Duty payment online and share all the supporting documents to accounts. Maintaining BOE’s based on shipment clearance location. Update client on shipment status with approximate arrival date of the vessel.Inform stores regarding shipment arrival. Inspect incoming shipment and compare shipments with the PO. Inform discrepancies, damages, and defects to supplier if any. Update material IN-OUT in stock managing software (ISM). Schedule delivery as per client payment terms confirmed by accounts team. Provide delivery update to client prior to delivery. Preparation of Commercial invoice and delivery note for export sales. Applying for the Certificate of origin. Arrange packing details from stores and share to client for Ex-works delivery. Manage clearance at Sharjah Hamriyah Customs. Preparation of Internal DO when required.Issuing warranty certificate and training Certificate to client. Preparation of weekly delivery schedule report.
