As a guest speaker with IMD's Advanced High Performance Leadership program, I lead multiple classes each program, delivering knowledge and skill development sessions. These seminars center around the principles of negotiation and conflict resolution that leaders can use to be more persuasive and influential. Formal one-to-one coaching sessions are offered to participants as well.This unique perspective and training for successfully navigating difficult conversations is routinely recalled as a challenging and memorable part of the leadership journey for many attendees. These week long programs are offered multiple times per year, and are delivered in person in Saanenmoser, Switzerland. Hostage Negotiator

NIPAS-EST is one of the largest multi-jurisdictional municipal SWAT teams in the United States, serving 60 municipalities, 5 counties, and over 1.8 million residents in the suburban Chicago area. I was assigned as a crisis and hostage negotiator with this team, receiving training from the FBI and elite negotiators across the country. We negotiated incidents with suicidal subjects, armed barricaded subjects, hostage takers and assisted with other high risk calls for service, in an effort to use verbal influence to reach peaceful resolutions.

Hired as an adjunct professor of psychology and criminal justice, grew into a highly rated faculty member who led students in multiple undergraduate courses.
