Centre manager for an English International study programme at Cheltenham College, for 200 students aged 11-18 from cross the globe. Working alongside a brilliant management team, I work to ensure students go home happy- wanting to return the following summer! With a key focus on staff management, centre operations and logistics.

As the Activity Coordinator at the Rugby School camp I was responsible for planning, organising and implementing an inspiring on-site activity programme for our international students. As well as promoting the programme to achieve maximum participation. Despite coronavirus posing several problems for us during the camp, it was still a successful camp and I look forward to the next!

I worked as a English classroom assistant in the preschool, with children aged 4-5. My role was to assist my partner teacher in lesson planning, administrative issues and duties. I used my native knowledge of the English language to communicate with the children and help improve their pronunciation, comprehension and overall confidence with the English language. Here I learnt different methods of teaching and learning, by applying techniques and strategies for reinforcement of vocabulary, language structure and listening skills. I very much enjoyed my placement in Madrid and I was sad to leave. But I left with a better understanding of the Spanish language and with a greater desire to become a teacher in the future.
