Thrilled by science and technologyMotivated by the good purposeAfter studying physics with a focus on mathematical problems in numerical relativity, I found my first long-time purpose as a software developer and architect in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging with Circle Cardiovascular Imaging Inc. which I am glad to have joined and helped with their journey from start-up to market leader in its field. In 14 years, I experienced how important and rewarding it is to have a clear focus on thorough solutions, relentless debugging and solid testing. All for the purpose of helping cardiologists and their patients with reliable analysis tools.As the time had come to review the past, present and future, I am now excited to move back closer to physics and technology and to use my experience to help with the pressing challenges from climate change to develop and establish better, sustainable technology and higher levels of efficiency, e.g. in public transport. As a first step, I completed a nano degree course on energy storage technology at Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule.Our present world is driven by data and insights into it, so I am currently learning the skills of machine-learning that I did not have the chance to acquire in my past career and I am really enjoying the WBS Coding School Data Science Bootcamp (Nov 2023 - Mar 2024).
