My role is to help develop and present the ideas and advantages of conversational AI, as exemplified by the Meera platform. Conversational AI means using today's evolving tools for understanding natural language and responding (via automation) in the ways that a human would. That makes it easier for people to get information, without wading through the interactive menus where (inevitably) the "menu options have recently changed."

For decades, I've helped clients explain the real-world benefits of their technologies, at every point of the customer journey from awareness to adoption. That's meant projects and campaigns across domains (especially IT security and enterprise hardware), business classes (from start-up to Fortune 10), and audience types (from IT workers to line managers to the C-suite).A background in journalism helps me focus on answering the right questions, and highlighting the most crucial facts.While those communication basics persist, context dictates the tactics that matter. I strive to communicate empathetically and persuasively, whether that means crafting a case study, an email, an interactive web site, or a 40-page white paper. I know that my job also starts before a project is pursued or booked: the same skills that I employ in writing and editing are just as valuable in researching clients, pitching for their business, and conveying competence.
