After spending 15 years in vocational ministry working in local churches I’ve spent the past 8 years teaching Secondary Mathematics in public education. In those years I’ve learned to communicate concepts and information that most of my clientele would characterize as foreign to them in a way that is clear, concise, and understandable. I’ve developed the soft skills to create a classroom environment that fosters meaningful relationships and open communication even though the expectation is that math will be learned. I’ve collaborated with coworkers to share information and duties so that we all can work in a more efficient manner. Most importantly I’ve made meaningful differences in students lives that never thought they’d enjoy a math class ever!
