I currently manage, consult and provide guidance to vendors on a global level in the health club industry, campus recreation industry, YMCA/JCC industry, yoga studio industry, and CrossFit industry with their marketing and advertising needs. Club Solutions Magazine is the leading business resource trade publication for the health and fitness industry. Campus Rec Magazine is the only trade publication 100% devoted to the campus rec industry. Community Rec Magazine targets professionals in YMCA’s, JCC’s and city fitness centers. Mindful Studio Magazine is the first and only business resource trade publication for the yoga studio industry. Box Pro Magazine is the first and only business trade resource publication for the CrossFit Industry. All five platforms provide best practice, business resources to educate and empower professionals in their respective fields to operate either more profitable businesses and/or increase participation, and make improvements in their own respective areas of expertise. Our media platform includes: a monthly or bi-monthly publication, website, e-newsletter, social media, and national events. We host the Leadership Summit at the Kentucky Derby each year where we bring together the health club industry's top level executives for a 3 day networking, roundtable format at a world-class event. By advertising in any or all of these portals, vendors gain valuable exposure for their products and services to the key decision makers in The United States and internationally.

Developed and led sales and account management operations in the Eastern United States (18 states) for the country’s leader in fitness equipment accessories. Communicated with decision makers in health club industry. Exceeded sales goals in first year with company with record sales. Increased sales with current club chain customers, and introduced new customers to Power Systems’ equipment. Tracked and reported growth, opportunities, and activity with weekly progress reports. Oversaw entire process of orders from quotes to payments to inventory of warehouse to delivery to follow up. Assisted with fitness floor design and recommended best use of space. Traveled to my customers consistently to meet face-to-face and attended conferences and conventions throughout the country. Have great relationships and network with the experts in the health club industry including IHRSA, MACMA, NEHRSA, top health club chains, and other fitness equipment vendors (Les Mills, Life Fitness, etc.).

Oversee the entire operation of a multi-purpose health club in a club chain of 23 clubs. Insure the club meets monthly and annual budget goals. Manage and develop the club’s sales systems. Initiate and close corporate wellness program accounts with small and large companies. Manage the fiscal operation of the club including accounting, purchasing, and expense management. Received award for company’s top producer in 2011. Assisted in Grand Openings.

Managed the operations and staff of over 100 employees of all departments in the Club including Fitness (personal training, group fitness, nutrition), Sports and Activities (basketball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey), Racquet Sports (tennis, squash, racquetball, platform tennis), Maintenance, Aquatics, Food and Beverage, Member Services, Sales, Children’s and Spa Departments. Insured the proper implementation of departmental budgets. Developed department programming to increase member retention. Provided leadership and decision-making in hiring, termination, and evaluation process of department head positions. Implemented preventative maintenance plans. Developed capital purchasing plans that meet the strategic business plan. Met quarterly with owners for Board Meetings.
