I am a professional Civil Engineer and Project Manager with over four decades experience throughout NZ, Australia and beyond. I have delivered of a wide range of building and infrastructure projects from small to large and complex. My particular expertise and interest has focussed on infrastructure projects across a wide range of industries. As a natural leader, I have sucessfully led numerous teams through winning tender bids, detailed design, construction delivery and project handover over a wide range of projects. Following an initial solid grounding in engineering design and construction, I spent many years as a Senior Project Manager with an international Contractor, then as a Director of a Project Management consultancy. This project focus honed my project delivery skills with the integration of all facets from project definition, design and procurement through to delivery and handover. My well-grounded and practical construction experience, allows me to relate to a wide audience, from design consultants, contractors and project owner/clients. I am comfortable challenging the status quo, to seek alternative solutions and continually strive to achieve an optimal project outcome.
