- Leading a team in a joint needs assessment for drug and alcohol services across Luton, to inform a three year strategic plan for presentation to the local authority partnership delivery board- Commissioning a street outreach team to engage with street drinkers and to gather data detailing the extent of the issue across Luton, in addition to researching.

• Overseeing the effective running of all services incumbent within the welfare function of the organisation
• Playing a vital role in the development and implementation of NOAH’s long term strategic business plan and practically delivering on this plan within welfare services
• Evaluating and streamlining services on an annual basis, making certain all services are fit for purpose, in addition to researching and developing new services in line with organisational objectives
• Forging and actively promoting relationships with external partners, funders, community groups and other involved parties and enhancing organisational reputation wherever possible
• Utilising extensive line management experience to lead and appraise a high performing management team in the delivery of welfare services
• Working closely with service managers to ensure the delivery of on budget services, taking overall responsibility for a budget of over £500K

• Taking overall responsibility for all operational functions across the organisation, reviewing and working in accordance with the appropriate policies and procedures
• Successfully securing the organisation’s short term future by bidding and winning over £700K of contracts
• Managing and appraising over 20 employees with responsibility for their training and professional development needs
• Responsible for the financial management of all operational functions through monitoring monthly management accounts and ensuring all operations are maintained within agreed budgets and that retail functions achieve.
• Implementing a full appraisal process including monthly line management supervision for all employees, resulting in NOAH achieving Bronze IIP accreditation
• Leading the restructure and renovation of all retail outlets, resulting in a sales upturn and budget achievement

• Managing a comprehensive range of welfare services and associated employees, including a day centre, outreach, resettlement and catering and overseeing the delivery of a high quality service for all clients
• Monitoring adherence to health and safety policies and procedures across the whole service, with regular reporting to the CEO
• Undertaking financial management of all services to ensure their delivery within defined budgetsKey Achievement
• Executing an organisational restructure in the light of a full service review, resulting in organisational cost savings

• Ensuring the day to day delivery of 3 separate outreach services across Bedfordshire
