  Leading the Deployment teams to enhance, upgrade and refine all Optus fixed Consumer Networks. Including NBN, HFC, ULL and RDSL. Budgets in excess of $125M. Responsibilities include all Critical Path management, Governance, Procurement, Steering, Communications, Progress Tracking and Benefit Realisation activities to deliver these initiatives with in budget. Winner of both the Optus 2017 Challenger Spirit and the CEO awards for innovation and collaboration."• Tim has been recognised in his nomination by senior leaders across Customer, Networks and Marketing & Products for his innovation.• Under Tim’s leadership, more than 100,000 ULL customers were migrated from the congested ATM DSLAMS onto the higher capacity IP D-SLAMS, all before the Premier League launched in FY17.• But in addition to reducing ULL network congestion, Tim has proved to be a great ambassador for Optus’ innovation journey. • He has been instrumental with building a cross functional Optus and Telstra team that co-operated and collaborated on the port swap trials. Working with Telstra, he negotiated a trial of the port swaps from 2 per week, gradually increasing this to nearly 6,000 port swaps per week.• His team also came up with a tool that identified customers on the older DSLAMS who were the largest consumers of broadband. By prioritising these customers for the port swap migration, this has brought significant congestion relief for the remaining customers on the existing DSLAMs. • He’s passionate about always looking for new and different ways of doing things.
