In March 2020 I semi-retired during UK Lockdown having returned from my travels in 2014. I enjoyed a long career in the Oil & Gas business, now enjoying the fruits of my labours and doing some volunteering. living the dream you might say.👍😉In 2017 I made a change of career, importing Portuguese wine and selling Portuguese property, I have also studied hypnotherapy as part of a 3-year course in Psychotherapy counseling at Reading University. I quit after one year. I also trained as a chef. In parallel I am volunteering for some local charities, like the National Trust and Sport in Mind.I can offer Supply Chain Management based on 30 years experience in Procurement, Contracts, Logistics, Capital Projects and Global Sourcing. During 24 years with ExxonMobil I enjoyed a wide experience, starting with 5 years in Sales before moving into Purchasing, Projects and General Management. Since 1996 I have travelled the world, specialising in Procurement and Contracts Management, working with the Major Oil Companies and top EPC Contractors. From 2006-2015 I was a consultant, developing people, processes and systems across the supply chain, either as Contractor or Client team. In 2014 I returned from my travels (11 countries in 20 years) to the UK where I trained and worked as a chef which remains a hobby.My goal remains to share my skills and experience at all levels, especially those with disadvantages, like mental health. I continue to enrich my career while raising the performance of my colleagues, clients and shareholders. I am now self-employed and ready to consider any interesting challenges.My specialties include Leadership in Supply Chain and General management, Policy, Strategy or Systems Development, Training and Project execution. I have managed diverse teams of Buyers, Expeditors, Inspectors, Contracts, Logistics and restaurant staff.
