As Project Manager I was responsible for driving, leading and managing the significant and complex Tasmanian National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (TNHVR) Project to ensure Tasmania’s full transition to the new Heavy Vehicle National Law administered by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).I drove the continued implementation and consolidation of this significant change for Tasmania and was responsible for managing a range of complex activities and risks associated with policy development, legislation, procedures and processes, access remediation, service level agreements, communication, marketing, change management, support business systems and processes, training and technical components to achieve the best possible interests for Tasmania.

Managed a team working on multiple projects over a range of issues including emergency management, national reforms, local legislation and support for the Minister.Had periods as Acting Director and represented branch at Executive meetings and had a key role in branch planning days.Represented the Tasmanian Government on national emergency management forums and committees gaining respect for my opinions.Promoted the need for, and initiated the national development of tools to assist the management of electricity supply shortages.Identified the need for and won acceptance for changes in technical aspects of the National Electricity Market. Established strong relationships with entities in the electricity, natural gas and liquid fuel supply chains.Developed key relationships to foster and facilitate energy supply emergency initiatives.Chaired and facilitated meetings, forums and workshops with external stakeholders including giving presentations.Proactive and potential based management and development of employees.
