During my time as a learning guide at the Jules Verne Campus in Munich, Tim Baggott was not only my direct supervisor but, more importantly, an exceptional mentor, both for the students and the staff. His sensitivity and empathy make him a trusted confidant, and he has a unique talent for approaching even the most challenging conversations with warmth and without judgment. No matter how busy he may be, his office door is always open – a near-symbolic representation of Tim’s genuinely caring personality. He listens attentively, embraces new ideas with an open mind, and provides constant encouragement and support. Tim is deeply committed to nurturing the independence and love of learning in students, guiding both students and teachers to reach their fullest potential. He is humorous and gives constructive feedback in a manner that radiates respect and kindness – he has a gift for touching hearts. His leadership style inspired me to embrace and advocate for my vision of education: a vision of learning without pressure, built on a foundation of love, humor, mutual respect, and equality in the relationships among teachers, students, parents, colleagues, and school leaders. Tim’s support allowed me to pursue and realize this vision in practice. With his coaching style, passion, and heartfelt dedication, Tim lifts education to a higher level of collaboration, mutual support, and appreciation.
