I design, build, and test automation and robotic fixtures used in manufacturing and assembly for Nypro plants around the world. Primary focus is with Nypro Clinton for many of our medical and communications customers' products.Daily activities include driving automation design with inside and outside shops, performing validations on assembly and molding processes, designing/building small scale bench-top testing fixtures, and working with our customers to better improve their product designs, quality, assembly effectiveness, and on-time shipping.In previous roles, I primarily focused on design and implementation of End Of Arm Tooling (EOAT) for robotic arms and fixtures on the molding and assembly lines. I have a heavy usage history of CAD, involving Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Pro/E. Additionally, I have experience designing assembly fixtures to aide operators, destructive testing equipment, and measuring scales.

Over the course of 5 years with CMP&H, I went from knowing nothing about plumbing to being able to design, layout, quote, and install plumbing and sprinkler systems.Daily activities included meeting with architects, plumbers, contractors, and vendors to design and layout the systems that they needed. Quoting and eventual field-work with the plumbers followed.Also aided the Office Manager in day-to-day activities.

Monitored the Design Studio in Higgins Labs and assisted students with their CAD homework and projects.
