Lead the Software Tools & Solutions group responsible for global technical support for internal software development tools, development and support of developer and tester automation solutions and executing the build and release tools and processes for production and developer builds. The team consisted of developers, build and release analyst, technical support analysts and process and project analysts located in multiple locations around the world. Responsibilities:* Lead global technical support team for internal software development tools including establishing KPIs, strategic direction for tool and process changes and maintenance of internal team processes* Negotiate with external vendors for software tools, including acquisition and support costs, to achieve the maximum return on investment for BlackBerry* Sponsor and chair a governance group to control and manage change to critical process, workflow and tool solutions to improve end user efficiency while balancing the needs of multiple internal stakeholders* Lead the development of internal tools focused on improving developer and tester efficiencies including build and release solutions, debugging and log collection solutions and device management and asset management solutions
