I assisted in the research of Dr. Eric Leibgold and Dr. Tami Ransom of Salisbury University. The target species of ground nesting birds were the worm eating warbler, and the ovenbird. I was a part of a team that assisted in searching for the nested birds in order to collect initial data on the weight, size, DNA, and clutch size of the nest. We tested the nesting success of the species and the predation rate of the young.
