My goal is to lead, teach, and inspire others to become all that God would have them be. For the last 30 years I've had the incredible privilege of doing this professionally at Concordia Academy high school. I began as the Campus Pastor. I later became the principal and shortly thereafter the Head of School. I became Head of School in 2010 in the midst of a financial crises. A variety of factors had brought the school close to financial collapse. In assuming leadership I had to make multiple difficult decisions. These decisions, together with hard work, inspired strategic planning, and an "all in" staff saw us through this crises. I am proud to say that today, by all metrics, Concordia Academy is stronger and healthier than its ever been in its 130 years of existence.I'm also proud to share that while leading at CA we've pioneered innovative programs that have received national and local recognition and awards for Character Development, Cultural Awareness, Industrial Tech, and Cohort Learning. I was named Principal of Year in 2022. I have also grown in my reputation as a public speaker and teacher. In 2023 I designed and led a half day work-shop on strategic planning for the principals of a Wisconsin school district. In this same year I was a featured speaker at the Heartland Conference of the Associaion of Lutheran Secondary Schools. I spoke on leading in the midst of todays Cultural Challenges and Opportunities.
