Managed and directed the BP small and medium gas turbines and compressor contract team representing the customer's interests with Siemens without prejudice to Siemens' commercial positionInstrumental in setting up the BP gas turbine and compressor contracts and wrote specific procedures, some of which have been adopted across the remainder of the Siemens UK market support business. This allowed BP to realise their gas turbine reliability and availability, which was unknown at the outset. Through constant monitoring, implementation of recommendations of improvements and regular servicing schedules the reliability has been increased to and sustained at an average in excess of 98% compared to Siemens global average of 95%.Provided professional and prompt support ensuring all tools, equipment, spares and manpower were identified, and supplied to worksite on time for all activities, both planned and unplanned.
