I'm proud to have been a teacher for over twenty years working with learners from Early Years through to the adult Education sector. I know bring that expertise to bear in my role as an educational technology consultant. I believe technology can make a massive impact on the learning and life chances of young people. It can also enhance the teaching delivered by classroom practitioners. This must be put in the hands of educators who have confidence in the technology and in their own ability to maximise its potential.During my time as a consultant I have co designed our scheme of work that delivers Computer Science, E Safeguarding and cross curricular technology to primary school ages pupils. I have created over a hundred resources to support the scheme including video guides, multimedia tutorials and lesson plans. I have qualified as an authorised Google Education Trainer, a Google Certified Teacher, and an Apple Education Trainer. I have supported schools in their strategic planning regarding the purchase, set up, deployment, curricular planning, staff and digital leader training of iPads and Chromebooks. As a CEOP Ambassador and 360 E Safety Assessor I am able to advise schools on Online Safety as part of their safeguarding responsibilities.
