Duties include: • Heading a team of Analysts covering clients across investment grade, cross-over and sub-investment grade credit profiles• Sanctioning of Transactions, Reviews and Amendments with an individual Delegated Authority• Review and challenge of team member’s proposals prior to submission into the Credit Approval Chain• Regular Client meetings • Preparation and Presentation of Risk proposals to Credit Committees both in the UK and Spain up to Board Level• Approval of Counterparty Ratings prepared by other Analysts (both UK and Global)• Representing Credit Risk at departmental meetings and committees • Preparation of policy papers and other presentations for Board Risk Committees• Involved with annual regulatory stress testing including direct contact with members of the PRA• Worked on various projects impacting the Credit Risk function including a secondment to the UK Banking Reform team.In addition to my role as Risk Sector Head, I am also the Environmental & Social Risk Champion for Santander UK. Responsibilities include:• Development of new Environmental, Social and Climate Change Risk Policies and Procedures for Santander UK• Contributing to Santander UK external reporting in Environmental, Social and Climate Change issues• Reviewing Client relationships and transactions from an Environmental, Social and Climate Change risk perspective and making recommendations to Senior Management in both the UK and Spain• Representing Santander UK on external projects such as the development of Climate Change Risk Questionnaire with other leading UK lenders and UK Finance, for the upcoming Bank of England Climate Biennial Exploratory Scenario (CBES).

Global Senior Credit Risk Analyst for UK based corporates operating in the Natural Resources sector with a particular focus on the Utilities SectorKey Responsibilities include; • Review of commercial facility proposals across a number of product types including Lending, Derivatives and Asset Back Financing• Preparation and Presentation of Risk proposals to Credit Committees both in the UK and Spain upto Board Level• Undertaking extensive rating reports including Financial Analysis and detailed forecasting models• Review and preparation of amendment/waiver requests etc. for existing clients• Production of Annual Sector wide Risk review along with calculation of capital consumption of client base• Approval of Counterparty Ratings prepared by other Analysts (both Local and Global).

• Production of detailed credit analysis reports for senior management (up to Board Level) for new client facility proposals, refinancing requests, as well as annual reviews of existing Client exposure to the ING Group.• Production of detailed forecasts and financial models to monitor/analyse Client performance and identify any potential covenant breaches.• Analysis of new facility documentation up to execution, including negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.• Meeting current/potential Clients and providing recommendations to meet their financing requirements.• Supporting the Bank’s Commercial/Clients Teams with the preparation and presentation of new deals to commercial green light committees.• Involvement in distressed debt restructuring situations, including attending all lender meetings on ING’s behalf, negotiating restructuring proposals with Clients and Coordinating Bank Groups. Presenting proposals to ING Group Credit Restructuring Committees (on an ad-hoc and Quarterly basis).

•Implement the Company’s Risk Business Model by agreeing prompt limit decisions (up to £500,000), monitoring buyers•regularly and communicating information back to policyholders;•to meet clients, buyers and brokers in order to keep loss ratios on budget, access further information and improve customer service levels;•Writing regular reports on high risk buyers and for recommendations on larger limit decisions to Manager and Director level. Reports would include full analysis accounts (both publicly filed and Management) Cash flow, Forecasts, Industry trends and Bank Covenants;•Quarterly meetings with Director of Domestic Risk Underwriting to discuss high risk buyers.

• Assisting Collectors by gathering and organising information on Clients, their buyers and debts involved and placing this on Carms for use in collection• Supporting Underwriters with the logging of risk information and repayment schedules on to IRP• Helping Clients and Brokers with inquiries relating to policy terms and reporting obligations and advising when they are in breach of their policy terms• Authorising repayment schedules
