Tim is a sales executive, program builder, and home center expert, with 25+ years of national sales experience. In diverse senior management roles, he has worked with leading consumer goods companies, private labels, Fortune 500 companies, and national retailers. These retailers and brands include: Lowe’s, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Olympic Paint & Stain, Henkel, Loctite, Liquid Nails and more. Specializing in the hardware home center category, Tim has honed his expertise in national account sales management, assortment optimization, and category expansion blueprints. He has also helped to develop successful programs within the dollar store channel. A charismatic collaborator, he builds synergistic win-win retail partnerships and programs. Tim is a Vice President of Sales of Polygroup, a global consumer goods leader with companies that design, manufacture and distribute outdoor recreation and seasonal home décor products that inspire people to play more and celebrate more. He focuses on growing the company’s business within Lowe’s Seasonal Holiday category. The result: Polygroup’s seasonal assortment in the retail chain has more than doubled through innovation and partnerships. He is also managing the expansion of Polygroup’s Funsicle outdoor recreation products in Lowe’s and within the dollar store channel (Dollar General and Family Dollar).Previously, Tim held various director and leadership roles at PPG Industries, a Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. Before an assignment focused on inventory optimization throughout the PPG Architectural Coatings supply chain, he worked on the buying side as the Director of Sundries for PPG’s 400+ company owned paint stores, which gave him a 360-degree view of the complete buy/sell cycle. During his PPG tenure, Tim managed one of their top-tier retail customer accounts while also building and leading a large sales & service team organization of over 200 field professionals. A career highlight is being a member of PPG’s core management team that developed and grew Lowe’s exclusive Olympic Paint and Exterior Stain program. During his time working on this program, PPG received the Lowe’s ‘Innovation Vendor of the Year’ award. Tim holds a B.S. in Marketing with a Minor in Speech Communication from Penn State University. He is the President of Little Smiles, a local non-profit organization creating big impact by supporting hospitals and healthcare providers in bringing joy to children affected by serious illness, homelessness or tragedy.
