I have been associated in the motor industry virtually my entire working life starting at Europarts, East Sydney as a spare parts interpreter. From selling parts and accessories for about 4 years I wanted a change, and with a passion for all things cars, thought I would try my hand at sales. I started at Westend Mazda selling new cars and was soon transferred to the companies Mitsubishi Hornsby dealership.I advanced to Fleet Manager and after a while was again transferred to the Mazda section as Sales Manager. My wife Kerrie and I moved to the Central Coast in 1992 and fortunatley soon after the Sales Manager position at Central Coast Mazda became available.Starting to feel like a local this position suited well and as we had a new born daughter, Sally in 1993, meant more time with the family. Our number two child Thomas arrived in 1995. Arthur Stanley and Terry Bond bought the business from Cherie and Ashley Reid in August 2003. Arthur and Terry appointed me General Sales Manager for the sales group in Gosford,responsible for the smooth running of our brands, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, Subaru, Volkswagen and Nissan. Soon after we aquired Chrysler Jeep and Dodge and in addition Izusu. In 2007 I was appointed General Manager for Coast Star Motors. In September 2018 I moved to our Volkswagen department as Dealer Principal.
